Welcome to the Villamartin area

Villamartin Plaza is only a short walk away and has many bars and restaurants. It also has nightly entertainment midweek during the summer.

Zenia Boulevard is a 10 minute drive away, and with over 100 shops, Restaurants, Coffee bars, a Hypermarket, Cinema, Bowling ally and much more. there is sure to be something to tempt you to visit this popular visitor destination. 

Beaches. The nearest (La Zenia) is only 10 minutes drive away, with plenty more stretching up and down the coast . You can also travel down to the Mar Menor, which is the largest inland sea in Europe, and is surrounded by typically Spanish resorts and gently sloping beaches .
Golf. Within  a 10 minutes drive there are 3 championship golf courses (Villamartin, La Ramblas, Compoamour), and there are more than 12 other golf courses within a one hour drive.
Local Markets. There are numerous local markets in the surrounding areas (Playa Flamenca, San Miguel de Salinas, Torrevieja), where you can browse the stalls containing fresh local produce and locally manufactured goods. You can purchase all manner of interesting items not found in UK markets.

Alicante, is 60 minutes drive away and is well worth exploring with its seafront marina & beach views, winding old streets & tapas bars, & the castle, dominating the city with its far reaching views. It also has  many varied small & large shopping stores in the newer area of the city.

Benidorm, is about 90 minutes away and is worth a day out.  It has theme & waterparks, and beautiful beaches, not forgetting Benidorm's famous bars/nightlife  where the town comes alive at night,
Murcia, Around 70 minutes away is the capitol of the Murcia region. It has an old Moorish centre which is well worth exploring on foot, and on the outskirts it has many shopping centres & theme parks.
Wine Regions. About 90 minutes away lay the famous wine regions of Jumilla, Yecla, & Bullas. For a small fee you can arrange a visit to many Bodegas and try the local monastrell wines. We have many recommendations from our visitors as to which is their favourites'!
